Educational Philosophy

In today's competitive global economy education becomes more and more important.  Education is a privilege that should not be taken for granted.  Quality education should be available to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, language, socio-economic background, sexual orientation and gender.  Teachers need to work hard in order to provide this education teaching to the "Standards" for each subject area giving the students the education they deserve.

The students have to work harder in order to receive the quality educations they desire and deserve.  Every student who walks into my classroom has the same opportunity provided that he/she is willing to work diligently and abide by the rules of my classroom.

I believe that we as teachers need to insure a safe learning environment where all of our students feel that they belong and that they have a chance to succeed.  It is our responsibility to make sure that our classroom provides for individual differences within our students and that we do our best to help our students to become responsible, respectful, well-rounded, educated individuals who will be able to succeed in today's global society.
